MEDJUGORJE
Medjugorje excursion is all about seeing people from all over
the world, from all areas and walks of life to come together as strangers, and
leave Medjugorje with a very special and unique bond of friendship, and love.
Their spiritual lives renewed, refreshed, and rekindled as the fire of the Holy
Spirit is burning bright deep inside of them. Our Lady invites each person who
goes to Medjugorje individually, and for a reason. Going to Medjugorje is a
special calling, and a special gift that you also will share with God's blessing,
and hopefully you will have a chance to do it all over again. The English Mass
is said every morning at 10:00am and is really a profound experience. One of the
essential activities in Medjugorje is the climb of the Apparition Hill (Podbrdo),
with a chance to pray the Joyful, and Sorrowful mysteries of the rosary marked
by beautiful bronze plaques. One of the stops on the ascend is a large wooden
cross which marks the spot of the first message Our Lady gave to Marija. The
message was: "Peace, Peace, Peace! Be reconciled! Only Peace. Make your peace
with God among yourselves. For that, it is necessary to believe, to pray, to
fast, and to go to confession." After the climb to the Apparition Hill, the
climb to the top of the Cross Mountain (Mt. Krizevac) is one of the unique
experiences. It is a difficult climb for even the most healthier, and it is
amazing to hear that virtually everyone who started the climb, no matter what
their physical condition was, made it to the top. It is a welcome site to see a
sky high Cross when you finally reach the top. After a full and bonding day we
will make our return to Dubrovnik feeling a more nobler and happier persons for
the blessing we received by spending our time and visiting Medjugorje.
